06/11/18 I landed in Sydney at 8am with butterflies in my stomach, it looks like I was excited to be back. I went straight to my housemates apartment. The aircon in buses is as cold as I remember! But the Jacarandas are in bloom! ??

I started to look for some documents in my packed boxes as I have to bring them to the interview without any luck. I watched a few videos and read the prep documentation for the test and picked up the suitcase of Lola, staying with my housemates for a few days, as her luggage did not follow her so it got delivered at the apartment. I stopped by the office to say hi to my colleagues and printed a few documents. The boys cooked a nice BBQ for dinner and we played a game before going to bed. And Angie who now leaves next door came to say hi.

07/11/18 I woke up early and did a final search in my boxes (ended up opening all of them), finally found my old passport and the identification documents signed by my chiro required for the interview. I went to one of my fav breakkie place before the test and was on time and relaxed for the test. The lady asked me a few documents as expected and I passed the test in about 5 minutes with a score of 100% ?. I have to admit that it wasn’t difficult thanks to prep documents at my disposal on the immigration website, and I have been living and working in Sydney long enough to speak English well enough. A few people in the test room seemed to struggle more, my guess is they might still be learning English, therefore needed more time to understand the questions.

I met Marjolein for a coffee at the Grounds in the city between 2 meetings then spent 2h in my office to get my Salesforce certifications up to date. Then I joined my colleagues for the Melbourne cup celebration in the office of the company who just acquired us. It was nice to meet some of the new faces of the team!

I stopped by the chemist to get my vaccine and went to Pyrmont for my doctor appointment for a final shot. I think I am finally done with all the vaccines.

I met with my housemates in Coogee for a drink and we went to our favourite Thai restaurant for dinner.

I enjoy my travels but I already miss Sydney!
