23/07/18 Back in Stockholm, and back to the same hotel as a week ago. I am early but the automated checkin lets me in so I drop the bags in the room and go explore the city by foot. Still 27 degrees it is very pleasant. I walked for about 1.5h to get to the Abba museum, as I stopped by the park and along the water to take pictures. The museum was great, as there are videos, quizzes, stages where you can sing and dance. They have a nice collection of costumes from the band and a big exhibition of Gibson’s guitars.

By 4pm, my feet and legs were sore, and I thought of taking a bus back to the hotel, but unfortunately, you can’t buy a ticket on board anymore (modern society!) so I walked back to city. On my way, I stopped by a few shops and found some accessories to wear at the Tomorrowland festival this weekend, and before I realised it, it was 7.30pm when I reached the hotel. I wanted to explore a bit of the night life but my legs were dead (14km), so I bought some Japanese food and stayed at the hotel to rest.

24/07/18 This morning I move my luggage to the hostel where I will stay for the last night before flying back to Belgium. I will explore the old side of the city. The hostel is clean and despite 3 guys in the room I was able to sleep.

25/07/18 I had breakfast at Joe and The Juice, which was quite disappointing, as the girls working there didn’t seem to care much about anything. The smoothie jars were not clean, my sandwich was overcooked and very greasy, the oil from the pesto leaked everywhere as there was way too much of it. Well not up to the standards I am used to! I had a good hour to kill so I went shopping and found a pink hat for the festival this Saturday. I hesitated for a while about booking a drink at the Ice Bar as I was waiting to potentially meet someone to come with me but I decided to go on my own as no companion showed up. Ice Bar is the first permanent bar made of ice and serving cocktails in ice glass. By -5 degrees, they provide you with gloves and a winter cape so you don’t freeze. It is actually a lot smaller than I thought but there was an exhibition on vikings in the ice which kept me entertained for the 20min I stayed inside. The raspberry cocktail was delicious! Then I packed properly to be ready for my flight to Belgium. Can’t wait to meet the Belgian crew and go to Tomorrowland! ?
